I picked this up from my local FB page in central Bedfordshire:
Apparently there is a group of 2/3 men appearing in remote yards and peering into barns etc. When challenged they are asking about horses for sale, and whether anyone lives on the premises.
They are travelling in a blue Ford Transit.
It might be worth keeping an eye out, and increasing your security.
