Out of curiosity, are there any lessons still happening?

I've heard of one riding school doing private/individual lessons at the moment, which I was a bit surprised at. Is this unusual? Or are other places also open for some types of lessons?

Our yard has no lessons and no riding. I am amazed that there there are still lessons going on. A local facebook group seems to be full of people continuing to ride though.

Our yard is still allowing liveries to ride at their own discretion (personally I am not at the moment) and providing they maintain 2m distancing, but all lessons have been cancelled as per BHS advice, and I think all the schools in our area are doing the same, in fact some stopped even before the official 'lockdown' - I am surprised there are still schools going although I guess if it's not absolutely forbidden by the local council (who license riding schools) and it's not contravening the rules on 'gatherings' then there's nothing to stop them?

My yard has stopped formal lessons, but is allowing people to ride on their own recognizance, subject to distancing.

We’re allowed to ride, at our own discretion but ideally only in the school one at a time.

Our yard has initiated a system of timed slots- one in, one out.

Our instructor is on our yard, so no unnecessary travel but she’s not giving lessons at the min- something to do with BHS guidelines and her insurance.

We're riding (own yard and horses). We don't ride in bad weather and lessons are taking place over video calls. We are being sensible, generally lunging for 10 minutes before getting on to check they aren't fresh and being sensible. No jumping or galloping! We also don't leave our farm on hacks

We are closed and self isolating with two members of staff doing the horses that are in and every other horse is out. All liveries etc are not allowed on the yard
