Country boots for very slim teenage legs!

I’d like to get dd some new yard/country boots for the winter as her woofwear ones from last year have given up the ghost. She’s down at the yard every day and works at a riding school one day at the weekend so they need to be able to withstand a lot of wear. She’s tall and very slim with narrow calves and needs a supportive insole as she has a tendency to roll onto her ankles. Any recommendations gratefully received

Thanks, she’s already got long riding boots so what she needs is something to do general yard jobs in, muck out etc etc and which are comfortable to walk in (she’s on her feet the entire day when she’s at the riding school)

I think the last time I was on a horse was 10 years ago, but I am still wearing the boots for many purposes.

I now live in Australia, and my backyard faces the bush. I wear those boots when I go for a longish walk to the waterfall . They are quite comfy and I hope high and hard enough to protect me from snake bites.
I also put them on when tackling the crazy vegetation in my garden, because I love that they are so tight and I don't end up with soil or water in my boots.

But of course, wearing them for a whole day is another thing.

Dubarrys are slim in the leg but are pretty spendy...

Eek - they aren’t cheap!! But look perfect...

I have the opposite problem but these are lace ups so they should be adjustible! They're warm and comfortable here

What’s wrong with getting another pair of woofwear? Genuine question as I’m thinking about getting a pair for DD.

She’s had two pairs now and they’ve both fallen apart after one winter (admittedly dd managed to stab the first pair with a pitchfork which didn’t help ...). But the main problem was they swamp her calves, even doing up the velcro to its tightest setting. She spends so much time at the yard that I thought I’d treat her to a special pair of boots for her birthday, with the hope that they last a bit longer

Thanks for that. DD manages to destroy any kind of boot within months so I might give the woofwear boots a go. She's got the opposite problem & it's such a struggle to find boots that fit.
