I saw them in a magazine when I was about 14 and have dreamt about getting them for years afterwards.
They were white leather tall boots by, I think, an Italian brand.
Expensive and impractical but so so pretty and elegant.

Aha, I've found them!
They were by De Niro and they don't make them anymore which I was expecting really but still
