Looking for a share horse / part loan in Southampton

Just popping it in here while I wait to be added to some local FB groups...

Looking for a share horse local to me in Southampton (Botley / Hedge End / West End for those who know the area). I've not ridden for years (though I was pretty good in my youth!) but spent yesterday with a friend in her yard, went out for a ride on her TB and have the bug again! Been wanting to get back in to riding for a while now kids are older and I have more time. Ideally would like a day or 2 per week, happy to muck in with yard duties etc in return for riding! Not wanting to compete; a happy hacker would do me fine. I'm 5ft7 and 10.5st so the bigger the horse the better . Please get in touch if you need a free stable hand, or know of someone who might!!

I have a ex racehorse just coming back into
Work so he's not suitable at the moment and I'm stabled bear Funtley but I came on to advise you to join the Hampshire hooves Facebook group, that's how I found my loan horse before I got my new big lad

Wooooooop!! My friend whose TB I rode has asked me if I want to ride him for her! I'm so excited, it's perfect. Just been to Decathlon for kit, I feel like a kid about to start her first riding lesson dressed in shiny boots and new jodhpurs!!!

noidea just seen you're near Funtley? My friend's yard is in Wickham and I know you can ride up to Knowle from there, so if you ever hack down that way do let me know!

I will, yes I'm
Funtley and only learnt today we can get to wickham. I'm still very new to the area! Although might have to move yards soon. Sounds like you have good hacking so might be a yard for me to look at!
