Sad to say that after years of rumblings, the land my lovely little diy yard is on has been submitted for planning permission, 90 houses.
It may still be years once it’s passed (I know in my bones it will be passed) but I can’t stop feeling sick about it all so just wondered if there was anyone on here in the South Bucks area who may know of a few yards or land around.
It’s so frustrating as we have such a happy yard now after years of dramas with liveries - we’ve had heroin addicts, people with personality disorders, people who thought they could be on diy yet not actually come do their horse as well as people who start diy then just find it too much. We finally have a perfect group of happy liveries but the future is very unstable.
I’ve got a 15hh mare who is very uncomplicated, just want somewhere where she is happy really. We are happy hackers and don’t need a school. If there is somewhere with room for all of us then brilliant but I know that’s unlikely.
The rest of the horses are three more mares , 15hh-17hh and a Shetland gelding.
