Watching that footage i kept thinking "that's what my horse would do if it saw flags... lots of people cheering... a crisp packet... ivy growing in a new place". Can't pretend i ride nearly as well or stay as calm. Hat's off or more appropriately, held firmly down on our head to that wonderful rider and cheeky horse. Made that journey really worth watching.

Gosh the rider was brilliant. Calm, quiet seat and hands and cajoled the horse round.

I guess someone didn't get polos after they got back to the yard

I think the policeman who had to move sharpish got a bit of a shock. I think all the riders were working very, very hard today.

We wept with laughter about that horse! How he must have been swearing the whole way round and how smug the rider next to him must have been!
