2 large tractor tyres bolted together on top of a pallet. Keeps it off the ground, free draining, and stops it from blowing away.

We just take up in plastic feed bags and then deposit in about 6 heaps around the field to stop them fighting. We keep them low enough that they don't blow around too much although the ponies love scraping through them.

Haynet, tied to fence/gate (NOT electric fence - it will earth it).

Huge heavy duty plastic tubs sourced from a nursery and used for trees (130+ltrs) - have to weight down with a large stone though and if you've got messy feeders you will still end up with loose hay everywhere.

We've got a trickle net for in the stable, I think they do nets for whole bales
