I purchased my protector in December and today the zip fell off.

Do you think the shop will exchange it?

I would expect them to

Took it back and they don't exchange them. It has been sent for repair to the Racesafe company.

I have no idea how long this will take. Does anyone know?

We wanted a Racesafe with a short back - better for WHP for 13yo - and that took a month to arrive from the manufacturers.

We've a shop in our town that specialises in putting zips back into body protectors so I imagine it's something that happens quite frequently..

They have just phoned me. It will take 2 weeks.

Knowing my luck I will fall off between now and then...
