Riding Lessons for a 5-year old

My Granddaughter (just 5 years old) wants to start riding lessons in or around Cambridge. I have read all the various very helpful threads about how long the first lesson should be, etc. BUT can anyone recommend a local Riding School in Cambridge? I have contacted one or two - but they've either closed down or just don't answer.

Try the BHS (British horse society) website for their accredited riding schools. My son started age 8 but 5 is also ok.

5 is perfect for starting to ride. DD started when she was 2.. Depends on what part of Cambridge you're in. Sedgeway are worth looking at nr Ely. if you are out East (Newmarket way) then lots of kids near us go to Barrow which is just off A14. Have a look on the BHS website for ideas..
