Anyone taking their horse on holiday this summer?

Its our first time on holiday with our horse. Is anyone else taking theirs. Where are you going?

Hi Did you take your own hay/haylage? Some people are suggesting we take our own some are saying find out what they supply and start introducing it gradually. What did you do?

It was quite dusty hay there. One of mine has dust allergy so took our own haylage. Straw was provided for bedding but took shavings for ours because of the allergy. Went in a group and the others just fed what was there one of their horses had developed a cough by the end the rest were fine. Are you going to field farm?

Yes, I think we will take our own too it seems simpler I think. If taking a horse on holiday can ever be viewed as a simple thing!! (Just messaged you on our other thread )
