Taking our horse on holiday - ideas?

We would like to go away with our horse for a little holiday. Can anyone recommend self catering with stabling? We are looking around the northwest ideally, maybe Derbyshire? But open to suggestions. Thanks.

A bit further afield, but had fun at Canter Hallington in Lincs. X-country, beach ride and shooting stars. But it was a while ago, so don't know if it's still going.

I've been to Field Farm, enough to entertain both me, horse and completly non horsey OH on his mountain bike. I'm trying to persuade him to go away again but although FF is great, we'd like somewhere in easy walking distance of a pub!
