any other eventers or eventing mummies around to share the build up with?

I haven't evented for a few years, but would love to hear how you get on. This time every year I get jealous and think I need to get myself and my horses fit and going again!

Isleham is just up the road from us and we usually go. Unfortunately we had to go to East Sussex instead to a show. Luckily - given the mileage - DD can Show Hunter Pony Champion. I expect they had really good going at Isleham today and at least the sun was shining so a good start to your season.

I'm an eventer! But also 20 weeks preggo. Hoping to push it out & be ready for Littleton tho Horse is off to Tweseldown on Sunday with me as groom. Hope I'm not too much of a grump about not competing.

Spent Saturday at Moreton with the boss and 4 horses. Always a relief to have the start of the season underway. Now on to tweseldown!

Mine starts mid April, I simply cannot get mad mare fit enough any earlier with working full time and the dc, plus I am underwhelmed by the earliest event near us.

Fellow eventing fan here! I gave up eventing three years ago now due to lots of injuries, but my horse is now being competed by a very competent 25 year old who loves the sport! I get my fix by being top groom. I also have a share in a horse doing his first Badminton this year!
Hurryup...what events are you planning?
