If your horse is in full livery how much time do you spend with it a week

Do you mean actual hours or how many times I go to the yard? In winter I tend to go everyday to see/check her, in the summer 4/5 a week due to school holidays. Riding about 4 times a week now (has been off lame for a while).

DH would say I spend too long at the yard but the reality is about 20 hours a week. HTH

I had a horse on livery for 5 years at one stage, hoping to get another in the near future, once the finances are sorted. I was riding 5 times a week, as well as competing in eventing and showjumping. I found I spent about 15-20 hours or so with the horse (not including travel time), as we had a really social bunch were I was, and would often be nattering after our rides. Of course if I was competing, the hours increased quite a bit for that week.
