Would I be able to sell an outgrown body protector? Anyone done this?

We were told by the shop we bought it from that it will still be fine as protection, but they don't sell secondhand ones. It's ds' - he's probably only ridden in it about 20 times, but he's broadened out across the chest. He got it when he was about 15. Any ideas where I could advertise it? Gumtree maybe? We've got his boots to dispose of, too - he's got massive calves now!

I think body protectors are like riding hats, you are meant to replace them every 5 or so years ish so probably shouldn't really sell them on unless they are very new
