Very exciting! Do tell us all about it afterwards! I really wanted to go but couldn't afford both this and the BD convention (have been going to that and meeting up with friends for years and it's always been brilliant).

will do - but remember I am very much a novice - so alot will probably be above me.........a novice but determined to learn.

I've heard Carl Hester speak before and he's always very animated and very engaging so it should be a lot of fun. I hope they bring Valegro along, he is just stunning.

Well what an amazing 2 days. Highlights were Sylvia's loch, and then Carl Hester's master class......both are able to bring it all back to very simple terms.

If I was interested in/had an Iberian horse Miguel's section would have been very very informative, but I am not, so was nice to know, and interesting, but not so relevant to me.

If I wAs riding at prize st George or Grand Prix, Richard davidsons master lass, would have been amazing - but I am no way there yet.

Velegro was there, but actually enjoyed the other two younger horses that Charlotte rode and Carl "coached" if you like. The thing about valegro is amazing is his temperament, though they talked a lot about how they try and keep things "normal" and "real" and work from day one teaching to relax, so it makes me wonder, if in diff hands if his temperament would be quite so amazing.

It has given me a huge amount to think about, and actually try.

It was really very inspirational.......never been to anything like this before, it had a very informal relaxed feel and I will be definitely going again next year. Esp if Sylvia loch is there again!

Sounds wonderful!

Valegro was bonkers as a youngster. I saw him at the Dressage Convention as a 5 yo and even on the second day he was full of life after Charlotte had ridden him for 45 minutes that morning. He had been known to bold across the outdoor arenas at Addington during tests! All the more credit to Charlotte for harnessing all that energy in a positive manner.
