Best horse insurance (when loaniing) for a child?

My DDI has been offered loan of a pony to ride 3 times per week. Please can anyone advise on the best insurance to make sure we are covered for any injury to her, the pony and any 3rd party damage?

I'd go with BHS gold membership. you can get it for a child and it will cover her for everything. I think the pony's insurance needs to be via the pony's owner (any injury and vets bills) that isn't for you to get. My horses and pony's insurance covers anybody I give permission to ride them at no extra cost. that is part of the loan agreement you need to check.
