Can any one help please. I've just started back riding after having my little one. It have been a long time. Little one is 6 months and stopped riding 3 months after getting pregnant. So been a very long time since I have ridden and I am getting bad pains in the stomach. Did other people get this?
Didn't start steady was cantering first day.

I waited 14 years Sad but you should be all healed up by now so its either your muscles that have been stretched, now working hard. Depends what sort of pain (sharp or muscle pain?) my suggestion would be to take it slower! And maybe go see your GP for a check over. Did you enjoy it appart from that?!

It may be the ligaments in your pelvic area are still a bit soft, or it's the muscles contracting again and getting used to different movements. I would check with the GP to rule out anything else and then take it very slowly for a bit.
