DD and I and our gorgeous wee jockey! It was lovely!
In light of poor D0Gs story, which had me weeping last night, we were very careful, and I kept Ducky on a long line, but it was so nice. She had eyes on stalks when she saw the water splashing on the beach, and wasn't keen on the line of seaweed on the high water mark, but once we coaxed prised shoe horned her into the water, she really got into it! She didn't actually swim, but she was up to her neck! She was really funny, she couldn't work out why the water tasted wrong! Our jockey did really well too, he is such a star!
We tied her line to a tussock of grass after and let her graze whilst we all had a swim, and a great day was had by all.
