Right. I'm currently riding in a loose ring Waterford. This is not dressage legal. She goes well in it.
Last night in preparation for dressage I popped her into a kk ultra loose ring and she was horrific. She used to go in this. I don't actually think she was any worse than she used to be, but I feel annoyed with myself for carrying on in the Waterford when I can't do dressage in it. But when I changed it was for jumping. I just carried on schooling in it.
So what can I try?
Another question, which I probably less critical but ill ask anyway, Pelhams. What is the obsession that she should be in a Pelham for showing. Three judges have told me I'd have won the class if she was in a Pelham. But they marked me down for being in a snaffle? As I no longed care much for showing I'm not too worried but I might like to do some workers or the odd open next year? Shall I try her in one or just accept ill be marked down. I have a couple so it's not a big deal, just seems common feedback?
