Or to hose or not, given that they live out and it is impossible to dry legs thoroughly?

at present leaving well alone but checking the odd front leg now and then, cannot believe they live in soup up to their tummies and haven't succumbed to bog burn or mud fever yet

Oh darling! Sad you aren't alone. I think we are all in the same boat to sme extent. Ours are all healthy, but going totally stir crazy. There's been a chance to ride recently, but it's been so long that when I opened the tack room (metal lorry container) last week, all the tack had an actual fur coat! Dd has totally lost her mojo, mooches round the yard like depression on legs. Yard owner has developed an RS injury in her shoulder from mucking out so much, because the paddocks are so crap they've been staying in longer. Hay is going faster than it should. Dds friend has been having a crap time and just mooches all the time, I've been working flat out till Xmas and have to been about to keep morale going.
Just try and stay positive, this can't go on for ever. optimistic

:) thank you! That's a good pep talk, and now I feel only slightly more pathetic than Normal People!

Lovely sunrise this morning anyway, horse not eating :( but am leaving him to it for a few hours instead of pacing round the yard in a state Blush

(my bridle is mouldy too! There's a first!)

Lol at Normal People Grin and being pathetic is my job so stop butting in.
I'm sure your boy will be ok, ours are all fed up as well and they haven't even got the excuse of being poorly. How long does an abcess take to burst? Will he feel more like eating after that?
