I'm trying to remember what we paid for the dds.I think it was £24 for a group 1 hour lesson. We have an instructor come and teach them at home now and she charges £10 an hour.

KTK9 · 17/09/2012 23:57

We used to go to a local riding school. Was £17 an hour for a group, although usually it was 3/4 hour and £15 for half hour private.

DD has an instructor come to home now and he is £20 per hour, no travelling costs.

We are in the North West.

£27 for 1/2 private, 1hr group or 1 hour hack, but that's at a riding school in expensive part of Ssouth East. We pay £25-30 for an hour lesson on our own horses, but that's with an excellent trainer. Cheapest riding sschool local to us is £22 hour group lesson.

£25 for 45 min group lesson, £40-£60 for hour long private lesson (depends on which school and weekday/weekend) but one stables near here charges up to £80 for an hour long lesson

We do pub rides and the lovely landlord does mind us using the picnic benches as mounting blocks Grin

TwllBach · 20/09/2012 21:31

My friend and I pay £10.00 each for our own 'private group' lesson.

PigletJohn · 23/09/2012 19:15

pub trek may mean you need a wee on the way home

ellenjames · 23/09/2012 19:22

In lincs, £10 for half hour x

internationalvulva · 24/09/2012 15:50

I pay £20 for 1/2 hour private or £15 for 1/2 hour group. Our stables don't do hour long lessons for adults, only the kids. DD pays £9 for half hour group or £16 for an hour group.
