...DD was placed second in a lead rein showing class yesterday!!! I was so proud I nearly cried 
. She also managed two clear rounds in the clear round jumping, one off the lead rein!!!
Also, she won the first ridden (but she was the only competitor until there was a late arrival -who had been held up in a jump off).
I am so pleased, she has really gelled with her pony. He didn't put a foot wrong in the first ridden. She trotted round a big grass arena on her own and he was as steady as ever. She got him to canter on both reins and he stood like a rock for a good 10 minutes while the judges were conferring and watching the other girl, despite having no grass reins and some very lush grass right under his nose.
So thank you, thank you everyone in the Tack Room who has answered my questions and given me some brilliant advice.
