Thanks for the encouragement and stories of you all returning to it etc. I am 27 and hadn't ridden for 15ish years I think (can't remember excactly but deffinetly over 10) was so nervous! I wore 2 pairs of leggings and wellie boots. And they let you borrow hats.

Might think about buying some proper boots in coming months. Will see!

I'm thinking of going back too, only I have a problem with stiffness after breaking my leg in a road accident. Its a bit embarrasing to not be able to dismount after having ridden since age of 8!

A friend who is a physio tells me it will go after riding regularly which is good news to me. Have just been watching Jennifer Saunders' going to back to her riding roots so I will blame her too haha!

I have found my jodphurs and boots which are well worn so all there is to buy is a hat.

Used to spend half my life on a horse so going back to it will be fab.

Haha just had a peek at your other thread, rode in a horrible frilly thong for about three hours the other day with jeans that are too big. Not a pretty sight and I was terrified of injuring myself and going to a&e in that state.
