Does anyone know any good equine vets to do a 2star/stage vetting on a cob that my DD has fallen in love with?

The pony is currently in Hardwick, cambridgeshire

thank you

Would suggest that if you can't find anybody nearer the Newmarket vets would be ideal as easy run and they are all top class. Choose from either Newmarket Equine or Rossdales.

thank you
I will speak to them both later today

It might be worth trying Cambridge Vet School as well. They have an equine hospital so probably have some pretty good vets, and are closer to Hardwick than Newmarket :)

Actually, there's no "probably" about it - they saved the life of a friend's horse, and I know she thinks very highly of them. The website says they do "pre-purchase examination" as well.

How did it go? Did you get the pony?

PaulaMummyKnowsBest · 11/06/2012 18:39

sorry only just seen this..... Yes we got him

Thank you for the vet recommendations. We used the vet school in the end and we were very impressed with them.

We picked up the horse yesterday and he is settling in really well :o)
