Hello, my daughters section a has been on loan with the RDA for the past year as I was pregnant and dh working away so had no time or energy to look after the pony aswell. Anyhow, baby is finally here and dh back home and my daughter is desperate to have her pony back. We have decided that the best option will be to have it on full livery so my question to all you people in the no is how much should I pay??? I contacted a local yard that does have good facilities, ie walker, school and so on but they want to charge £400 per month (does not include exercise). There is another yard that is a little further that does not have as good facilities but great access to off road riding and they would charge £300 per month. The only additional costs I would have for both yards would be farrier and worming, they supply feed. Many thanks for any suggestions.

Sounds reasonable, here it's about £120 to £150 a week.

How important is the use of a school? We've recently moved to a yard as well as our filds to have eaccess to a school as both kids jump & dressage now...and school is pretty essential.

Both sound pretty cheap to me. Do they include ad lib haylage?
