The Badminton Ride

It is on 25 Sept at Badminton - anyone going? Anyone been? Is it chaos? Wondering how my ex-racehorse will be - will have to have a sherry first I think!

Never been, but I'm imagining something like a hunt fun ride? I'd need more than sherry!

I've not done it although I have ridden round parts of the Estate. I've had friends who've done it and had a great time. They have some lovely jumps up for the occassion. I'm guessing it's pretty much as manic as any other similar ride. There'll always be some inconsiderate idiots charging up behind you but on the whole I think people look out for each other. I'm sure you'll have a lovely time and I'm very . I've managed to be away or pregnant for the last few and now have no access to a horse. Have fun!

Always longed to ride around Badminton after trudging round on foot for years...although would probably prefer it with one or two horses rather than hundreds...oh well...beggars most definitely cannot be choosers
