Go queenie go!

LynetteScavo · 12/07/2011 23:20

Was that a contraction?

AmyStake · 12/07/2011 23:20

I've never seen her roll on her side like that before Shock

AmyStake · 12/07/2011 23:21

She's up again. Don't mares do this to get the foal in to position?

Bohica · 12/07/2011 23:21

She is up!

AmyStake · 12/07/2011 23:23

Did anyone see her moving the straw around with her hooves earlier? Cute. I wondered if she was making a comfy bed for herself. Or she just wanted to lick the floor. Either or!

Disasterpiece · 12/07/2011 23:23

Lynette She may look less wide as her foal may have dropped, same as a pregnant womans bump dropping.

So has she been going down? oo errr.

She seems restless now, shes biting at her tummy again.

Disasterpiece · 12/07/2011 23:24

bloody adverts!

Disasterpiece · 12/07/2011 23:25

think shes going to go down again

HadAThreesomeWithFredAndGeorge · 12/07/2011 23:26

She must be making one hell of a noise

LynetteScavo · 12/07/2011 23:27

Bless her!

thisisyesterday · 12/07/2011 23:27

is she neighing when her mouth is open or is she yawning?

Disasterpiece · 12/07/2011 23:29

Shes not happy is she? Her ears are pinned back, shes kicking and biting at her tummy, stamping her back feet.

It also looks like her bum (as in bum cheeks) are tensing up a lot.

Disasterpiece · 12/07/2011 23:30

Shes down again!

HadAThreesomeWithFredAndGeorge · 12/07/2011 23:30

I think she is bellowing yesterday!

down again!

Bohica · 12/07/2011 23:31

Ohh she is down again! Leg in the air!

HadAThreesomeWithFredAndGeorge · 12/07/2011 23:31

nooooo

advert

thisisyesterday · 12/07/2011 23:31

big old bump for the foal when she goes down isn't it??

i know no-one wants to take time to answer this right now in case they miss anything, but why do they want her to have a foal?

is she a rare breed or anything? or is there just another reason for it?

AmyStake · 12/07/2011 23:32

Oh my god I think she's actually giving birth!

Disasterpiece · 12/07/2011 23:32

Shes down, tail is up, and I think she just had a contraction, all legs curled up and her tummy tensed up.

Disasterpiece · 12/07/2011 23:33

No shes just a shire, shes just having a baby. Its exciting to watch.

Tonight is definitely the night!

thisisyesterday · 12/07/2011 23:33

are horses normally vocal in labour?

i will admit (again) to not really being a big animal person, but most animals are quiet when they give birth aren't they? so as not to attract predators?

although, maybe horses don't have many predators cos they're big?

HadAThreesomeWithFredAndGeorge · 12/07/2011 23:33

Probably to sell yesterday. They are pretty valuable Smile

Bohica · 12/07/2011 23:33

I think my screen has frozen or is running behind!

Disasterpiece · 12/07/2011 23:35

No they dont make any noise.
