Oh yikes, have set date for next weekend. It's not a trauma is it? I know where the passports are. Transport is arranged. Flu, tet and worming up to date. There is nothing I need to do/think about is there? Other than look forward to new life there? And clear my field of poo that morning?

I won't even NEED my wheelbarrow! No poo-picking, no haying, no horribly heavy containers of water, no mucking out (as leaving dartmoor behind), hooray! Doing small dance of JOY here!

What do you mean by leaving Dartmoor behind?! Are you not having him on loan any more, or still keeping him at the old yard??? No mucking out or poo picking is very good :)

MitchiestInge · 30/05/2011 15:08

Not having him anymore, not an easy decision but helped by hard fact that terminating the loan plus moving reduces my main horse expenditure (livery alone) from £95 a week to £50 a month! Hopefully the extra money will open up new opportunities. I am a very unpopular person at home at the moment though!

No room for a Shetland now then? :-(

MitchiestInge · 01/06/2011 09:10

I thought she had gone, with her posh new haircut! I asked about room for a third at some point and it seemed to be ok, she would be in a different field - no way is ours shetland proof but they have others. Ooooh!

Grandmas definitely shouldn't drive convertibles piled high with rugs with roof down. They turn into parachutes! The rugs, not the grandmas. My car is full of rugs, my friend's car is full of rugs (I mean all the seats and the boots) and the back of another friend's van is full of wheelbarrow. I dare not unload any more stuff at new place because am desperately trying to be normal, like a normal person who has a normal amount of rugs.

Haha @ the parachute rugs, imagine driving into your new yard only for one to billow out, like when high speed cars do that parachute thing to slow down, :) Have the horses moved yet or is this stuff only so far?

MitchiestInge · 05/06/2011 19:40

Moved yesterday afternoon - am still delirious with joy! Except cannot get them in and out of field myself yet, but that is just me being an utter bag of nerves. Luckily it has a big gated entrance/corral thing which makes it theoretically a bit easier. I do feel more than a bit pathetic dragging helpers with me everywhere, we had a whole entourage yesterday, but you know, needs must. There is always alcohol, diazepam etc!

ACP? :-)

Saggyoldclothcatpuss · 06/06/2011 09:46

P.s. She has gone, but we have another!

MitchiestInge · 07/06/2011 08:52

Ooh really? I'm desperate to meet baby Alfie too, when might you be free?

Saggyoldclothcatpuss · 07/06/2011 09:16

Tomorrow or Thursday. Im sending them titivating DDs pony for Sunday's show.

MitchiestInge · 07/06/2011 09:24

Thursday! (am doing 'work' tomorrow)

fab, will text/call nearer time - will you have time for lunch?

OP posts:
Saggyoldclothcatpuss · 07/06/2011 09:49

Maybe. Depends how the titivating is going! :-)) I'm also stuck without a car at the moment, but we could always grab something and eat it with my friend who owns the yard.

MitchiestInge · 07/06/2011 10:07

I bet I get lost, am going to aim for midday then if ok? At your friend's yard where met before?

OP posts:
MitchiestInge · 07/06/2011 10:08

I can HELP with titivating. Just put some show sheen in own hair as no conditioner Blush

Saggyoldclothcatpuss · 07/06/2011 10:16
