Hi Melted, we pay £16 per week for stable and grazing (includes water filling, haylage in field in winter etc), but likely to go up to £20 over the winter. We're quite near to you

£15 per week here for grazing and field shelter, no hay or anything. We don't have to share it though which makes life much easier.

I pay £30 a week for a 3 acre field with water. It's not much but it's local.

Oh yes we have self-filling troughs too (no extra cost like water bills or anything) but if they freeze we have to bring water from home.

I pay £10 per week per horse for huge stables, my own fields (approx 3.5 acres, more storage than I will ever manage to use, and fantastic hacking straight out of the gate. The down side to that is there is zero help available, any repairs are down to me and it's bloody hard to manage in the worst of the winter. We love it though and we're very lucky. The cheapest near by is £40 a week diy and that's with no choice over fields etc.

We pay 34.61 pounds a week for 7.5 acres inc water trough in the Summer paddock.

We pay 30.76 pounds a week for a stable block which includes 4 stables, hay/shavings storage.

We have both to ourselves although there are horses in adjoining paddocks.

Thanks all Smile

Will maybe pluck up courage to make local enquiries.

The nearest possible field is sodden at the moment which would not be a good thing.

dd1 would like a pony, I am not opposed to the idea...
