Replacing missing touchscreen whiteboard pen

This is the second time that our pen has gone missing, and it seems common practice for staff just to take the one from the next room if they can't find one in their classroom.

No idea what's happened to ours , and I wouldnt normally buy anything out of my own pocket for work, but I'm seriously thinking of just buying one myself to keep in the drawer just incase. The pens from the same make are expensive though, and there are loads of dupes on Amazon for less than a tenner a pair. If you have ever bought your own to keep in your pencil case, where did you get your from any particular brand?

It works with just my finger, but I'm a bit germ phobic after asking the previous occupant of our allocated classroom how she normally cleaned her whiteboard - which was completely covered with fingerprint marks, to which she admitted she never did!

Mine works with the lid of a biro!

I use a normal pen too. All my pens are Pilot and their bottoms are rounded and smooth, so I use the bottom end, pressing gently. Probably shouldn’t but IT refuse to replace (children take ours)!
