Failing Probation

I am pretty sure I'm going to fail my probation period, based on feedback. It's already been extended. I've been trying my best but it's just not good enough. I just feel really disheartened and that teaching is not something I'm going to be able to continue to do.

Sorry to hear that. I have worked with people who failed because they weren't cut out for teaching. I have also worked with people who failed because their "face didn't fit" With their particular school.

How was your training? PGCE or another route?

Are there particular standards that you aren't meeting?

Could it be the wrong school for you?

I'm sorry to hear this. Are you newly qualified? If so, you should have a mentor and support provided. Are you getting this?

Assuming yes, would you consider a different school? Not all schools suit all people and sometimes a change can be a good thing.
