Sick pay on FTE

I work in a school and am receiving treatment for cancer currently. I was told that I would have 6 months sick pay as that is the policy in our LA. I am having trouble working out just wha time scale that means because of the holidays. As I understand it I don’t get paid for the holidays but paid over the holidays.
Has anyone else had 6 months off and can tell me if that includes the holidays or not?

20 weeks full pay. Holiday weeks don’t count. Paydays will run as normal dates until the 20 weeks are exhausted. At which point it’s 20 weeks half pay.

if you’re employed under burgundy book, you get 100 days full pay sick leave. These 100 days do not include holidays. Then it goes to 100 days half pay

The 100 days run over a financial year (March - April) rather than academic / calendar. The 100 days refresh in April 1st
