Morning!

I have been invited on an interview and would love some tips and advice if possible please 🤞🏻.

I need to deliver a 30 min lesson linked to their current topic ‘places I go’. It’s a whole class input focusing on utw. After the input, I need to model an enhancement in an area of my choice to a group of children whilst maintaining an overview of the whole class and demonstrating my understanding of high-quality adult interactions.

Have you got an idea of what your teaching session will be? If it was me I'd try to have lots of visuals or objects to use in my teaching. Keep it interactive, they still have quite short attention spans at this stage! Then the enhancement needs to allow the children to practise what you have been teaching them.
With quality interactions - remember to use more commenting than questioning, make sure you really pay attention to the children, try to extend their sentences, model any new vocabulary that you're teaching.
