Just feel bit of an idiot. Support staff. Managed to do it in front of adults/ SLT etc not children and some positive changes likely to happen which will hopefully 'improve' situation found myself in. I am experienced and feel foolish. A definite straw that broke the camels back situation. Yet I also know I would not be as harsh on others as I am on myself!
Help me not to dwell...Thanks.

I'm so sorry things came to this point.

Please don't feel bad in any way- you're not the first and won't be the last.

The important thing is what is coming out of it - you mention positive things so hopefully SLT have realised they need to provide more/better support.

We are only human and there is only so much we can do/put up with.

We shall see what Monday brings. I think a number of things need to be adapted to solve issue. Now need to wait til Monday to see how things pan out before making suggestions. Will bullet point in note to myself and then try and shelve for the weekend...

omg... ive been teaching for 20 years, up to asst head level, and ive often had a teary day at school

honestly? colleagues recognise it, no one thinks anything bad about it and if anything youre humanised and more likely to have support, Its all good x

Thought I would come back few weeks later.
Touchwood not cried again. Things still tough but do feel issues being seen as 'school responsibility ' which is good. Even when situations seem rather relentless (as they do at the moment) knowing others aware and trying to develop strategies/ supporting helps.
I think, something I have had to work on is not taking too much personal responsibility when a situation is (in many cases) rather impossible. Also, need to take a breath sometimes!
