Pay roll: Entitlement to back dated pay rise

I work for the council and we have an agreed pay increase of ca 3.5% which will be paid in September’s pay packet, backdated to 1st of April. If I leave my job in, say July/August, will I be entitled to the backdate pay from 1st April until my final day of work even though I leave before it is due to be paid out in September?

Anyone know?

Don't think so from what I've been told.

Yes, you should receive a payment in September with what you're owed.

SBM here. Yes, you definitely will receive it 😊
