Probably mad - currently head of a core subject in 10form school. My line manager has said that the school would pay for me to do NPQSL and to have a look and apply with one of the providers. I’ve had an initial look and just wondering if anyone else had done it and had recommendations for a particular provider or any to avoid. Thanks

My school did them with Ambition Institute, I did the SL with them and thought it was well run! I also did the old school ML before they became specialised with Best Practice Network and Ambition was definitely better x

Thank you - Ambition and Best Practice were the two that I’d looked at in most detail so that’s really useful
to know.

Avoid Teach First like the plague.

Ambition is well organised and manageable to follow.

Teach First are difficult to work with full stop.

JimmyGrimble · 13/06/2025 19:55

Teach First were shite. Mostly online learning to click through and badly planned and poorly delivered sessions. I did the NPQLT but I doubt any of the others are any better.

Thank you - Ambition seem to be the way forward.

I did mine with Real Training and really liked it.
