Leadership time

As a lead prac. (paid a TLR, not on the leadership scale), I have a small amount of additional non contact time to undertake all sorts of extra responsibilities that come from my curriculum leader, to support the department, as well as the assistant principal, to focus on whole school issues.

There are things that are part of my remit, but which attract extra time allowance for main scale teachers choosing to gain experience in the area. This can mean they have half as much extra time as me for one element of my job. I realise I'm being paid, but expected adequate time away from the classroom to discharge duties.

I'm now being asked to mentor, which I assumed would come with the (funded) dedicated time, but this hasn't been timetabled for me, where it is provided on top teachers' PPA and curriculum leaders' leadership / line management time. My contract refers to being involved in all these things, but does not mention time allocations.
