Hello! I'm a Masters student at Manchester Metropolitan University conducting a research study looking at the implementation of trauma-informed practices in schools and education settings. I am looking for teachers who have experience or knowledge of trauma-informed approaches. If you're interested in participating please have a look at the poster below for more details. Thank you!

All I know about it is that this approach has ruined many previously good performing schools by making too many allowances for poor behaviour and the removal of consequences. This has led to a decline in standards.

Thanks for your comment. My research study aims to examine how trauma-informed practices are being used in classrooms and how this affects students' well-being. If you're a teacher who has used trauma-informed approaches or have more firsthand knowledge of implementation, I would love to learn more from you in an interview. If that applies to you, please get in touch using the email [email protected]. Thank you.
