This is probably a bit of a silly question, but here goes….
After over 10 years of being self employed I’ve started a job as a cover supervisor at a secondary school. I’m really enjoying it but feel my nervous system has taken a massive knock! I’ve had anxiety in the past but this feels like major nerves and I wake up in the mornings with a pounding heart. I’ve only done about 4 weeks as I started just after half term. Mentally I’m fine but it must be subconscious. Does this pass?

Sorry, I didn't want to read and run. I can see you posted this a while ago. How are you feeling now? Its definitely normal and can take 6 months to get used to a new job and environment. Hang in there 🙂
