The role is part time TA, term time plus one week. 21 hours per week, no set days in writing but ‘normal’ working days are Tues, Wed and Thurs. Person is happy to swop days if needed on occasions when needed ( never pressured to do so, it’s their own choice).

Can anyone settle a debate regarding the May bank hol-person misses out, etc.
How many hours a year should be worked etc?

Thanks

Not an HR Guru!

But - does the person work training days? If so, term time plus 1 week = 195 days if 5 days/week. Assuming 21 hours is 3 days/week, that’s 60%, which should be 117 days per year.

By my count, working Tues-Thurs every week on that calendar would give you 118 days (2 of those are training days). So you’d be working 7 hours extra over the year.

Training days, work 3 days- 25 hours in total.
