KS1 community project

Hi everyone,
I’m looking for some ideas for a key stage 1 community project this summer. Last year we held a bring and buy toy and book sale and donated to money to the RNLI. We’re trying to think of a similar project for this year but perhaps more time focused rather than money oriented.
We are doing a whole school sponsored walk this month so that’s out of the picture. Also Years 5 and 6 are doing a litter picking project so that’s out too. We made Christmas cards for the local care home plus we have a group of year 4s who go there regularly.
Any ideas would be much appreciated!

Would they be interested in a shoebox appeal?
I realise it's a bit early, but it means you're nice and organised ready for Christmas. Teams4U are a great charity (they also don't have a religious affiliation which can be useful when promoting them in a state school), Teams4u

I'm in a secondary school and we're doing a Defibrillator fund project this summer. We have a local charity which raises money to place defibs in the community, so we're going to have some first aid lessons in PSHE and then a big assembly about the use of defibs. Then we're having a lunch time bake sale and raffle to raise money. The volunteers have even agreed to come back into school and help us on the bake sale stand :)

Teams4U is a charity set up by Dave Cooke, who has nearly 30 years experience working within international relief and development.
