I think I was naive in having high hopes that there would be some positive change-this just looks worse. More stress for all concerned, especially in small primaries :(

Just awful.

I'm glad I'm retiring.

I am so upset by the news today. Between the new Ofsted framework (which actually looks worse than what it is replacing) and Bridget Phillipson harking on about how good academies are and how great Michael Gove was I have genuinely feel like crying. Not a single word acknowledging a single issue affecting our profession at the moment. I genuinely despair!

It really is depressing :(

A real opportunity for change missed and so much for a big listen. How about looking at how schools are monitored in other countries across the world that aren't causing an immense retention and recruitment crisis-that would be a good starting point!?
