did anyone had to talk to school about it - affecting their work?

Yes. And now we have a menopause policy.

My friend works for the civil service and they have an individual menopause passport which is specific to them. It states more time to do tasks for anxiety, more breaks etc.

They also have carers passports if you have a caring responsibility for a child or elderly parent.

Can you imagine schools doing that for their staff.
