Accommodation at Independent school

Do independent schools have accommodation for non boarding staff and/or overseas visitors?

Depends on the school. I’m not sure what you mean by overseas visitors? Generally if you get accommodation you are expected to do something for the boarding house.

The one I worked at wouldn’t have allowed visitors to stay as the ‘spare’ rooms had direct access to a corridor with pupil rooms. Non-boarding staff could have used them if they were covering for someone else as they would have been DBS checked, but wouldn’t be allowed to just randomly book them.

Visitors were generally directed to the (very nice) B&B just down the road.
