Just wondering what other people thought of this. We opted not to do the free trial of this but I can see the appeal of being able to monitor reading and the data/progress/knowing students are reading. But I’m also a parent and my son has been set this for homework and I’m feeling very anti the program as I don’t really want him reading on a screen when he currently reads actual books. I also know he enjoys reading and there is a frustration at being stopped while reading to answer questions.
The teacher in me gets the appeal - especially for students that don’t read - but the parent in me hates the idea especially for children who do like reading.
Have other people used it? What are your experiences?
