Is signing off by psychiatrist for some time (stress etc) can negatively impact file / work compared to GP signing of?

No, if you are ill, you are ill. As teachers, we are entitled to sick pay. Employers have a duty of care to treat you well. I think I am right in saying that any sickness can't be mentioned on a reference. Just spend the time resting and getting better. 💐

If you have a choice, I would go for GP. However, if you don't, psychiatrist is fine.
