Anyone else moved KS?

I'm in EYFS/KS1 this year after a loong time in KS2 - mostly in 5/6! I have a great couple of days and I'm loving it but to say I'm frazzled is an understatement! My head is spinning 🤣

How is anyone else getting on?

Not moved key stage but KS1 & EYFS are madness this time of year. It will get easier and the headache will subside soon! Hope you are enjoying the move though. I could never go back to KS2 now.

Yes, but I’ve gone the other way! From EYFS to KS2. I did your leap from Yr 6 to EYFS several years ago. It’s such a big difference, I remember feeling like I was an NQT again.

This time round, the teaching I feel absolutely fine about, but it’s all the little routines you have in a day that I’m having to figure out again. Thankfully I have a good team who are getting me settled in. But I definitely have that spinning head and a splitting headache to go with it!
