Has anyone bought one of these and managed to successfully register a cat after it was installed? Or is always preferable to do do the registration pre-installation?

We did it before with both of our SureFlap cat flaps. Doing it this way gives you more control over the cat flap and is less alarming for the cat.

Hello. Both are possible. If you need to add cats afterwards you can just pass them through underneath the sensor but it is preferable to do it before installation if possible.
