Returning to work after maternity leave

Hi all,

Just wondering if anyone can help. If I was to return to work the week before the Christmas holidays started from maternity leave, would I be paid for the holidays? It might seem a daft question but just wanted to see if anyone has done the same thing and what your experience of doing it was like?

Yes you would be paid, and I think everyone does this! I've known people do the same with the summer holidays.
